EDC

                        EDC in Dr. GRDCS has been setup from July 1, 2008, by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India to engage its accumulated expertise and experience and its unique facilities to promote entrepreneurship. The main objective of GRD - EDC is to design and coordinate the activities to motivate, guide and train students and unemployed youth, towards identifying, setting up own enterprises and ventures of entrepreneurship and also to provide training and consultancy support to the existing rural and urban micro-enterprises and small businesses in the region. EDC-GRD is jointly run by the School of Bio - sciences, GRD Institute of Management (GRDIM), GRD School of Commerce and International Business (GRDSCIB) and GRD Academy of Management (GRDAM), supported by the Departments of Social Work, the School of Communication and by the Centre for Research in Social Sciences, Technology and Culture (CRSTC) of The GRD Trust. GRD - EDC is earnestly committing itself to conduct awareness camps, organize EDPs, training programmes, need based specialized programmes, consultancy services skill - cum - technology upgradation, etc.
