Admissions
to the UG Courses and the 5-year Integrated M.Sc
(Software Systems) generally commence on the day
following the +2 (Higher Secondary) results of Tamilnadu
(usually around middle of May) and get mostly completed
within 2-3 weeks. |
However,
candidates from other States may contact the College
well in advance (say in May) for prospectuses and to
find out the possibility of being considered for
admissions even if their results are likely to get
delayed. A selection process comprised of Entrance tests
followed by Group discussion and / or Interviews makes
admissions to the MCA and MBA. For MBA, MAT score will
be considered. Please keep a watch for newspaper
notifications for Statewide/All India Common Entrance
Tests since a good number of seats in MBA and MCA are
required to be filled up under State auspices. An
Entrance test for M.Sc(Biotech) is generally conducted
in June at the College. |
For other
postgraduate courses (Social Work, Mass Communication,
Marketing Management, International Business,
Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Microbiology, Computer
Science) the admission starts immediately after the
publication of undergraduate degree results (around
middle of June). Here too, candidates from other States
may contact the College early (say in May) for
prospectuses and to register their names for
consideration. |
Outstanding
candidates may however contact the College up to the end
of July for ascertaining the possibility of being
accommodated in vacancies, if any, in MBA/MCA and other
PG courses. |
