CREATIVE STREAK WINDOW DISPLAY on 22.08.2005 and 23.08.2005 Window display, the exuberant show of inventive genius and artistic inclination blended with distinct concepts and consumer analysis forms one the most anticipated events in the campus of GRD School of Commerce and International Business. Since its inception in 1998 the show manages to pick out latent talents from the students and convert them into vibrant creations. It boasts of a high degree of competition with each stall trying to magnetize the visitors in their own innovative manner. The event is rich in stalls, marketing- products, services, industries, manufacturing processes, abstract themes, and vivid imaginations. The atmosphere, starting from a month before the event is tense with the students pounding on various ideas and means to display them. Promotions for the stalls throughout the college and attracting the visitors effectively is quite a challenge for the enthusiastic students. The frequency of the judges visiting the stalls every one or two hours is a true test for the consistency in their performance. With music throbbing, students’ running excitedly for their last minute preparations, visitors swarming and spotlights burning the show is sure an eye opener as well as an entertainer for the ever-pouring crowds.
