COUNTRY STUDY


  • The activity country study is an ideal way for children to learn lesser known facts about our country - India. It provides opportunities to supplement conventional teaching and provides ample scope for interactive learning.

  • Children learnt to design an advertisement and to write brochures and pamphlets - that gave useful information about attractions in a state. They also learned to plan an itenary that would encourage people to visit a particular place. Using the prepared material, children put up an interesting display.

  • This initiative goes well beyond the confines of the text book, encourages creativity, team work, cooperation and unity. The activity adopts a cross curricular approach, covering writing skills from English and content from History and Geography.
