Admissions to the Diploma Course in Teacher Education are made on the basis of merit – performance in the Higher Secondary and in an interview/aptitude test. The Institute is keen that students should apply themselves with seriousness and commitment to their studies so that they derive the maximum benefit and bring credit to the Institute.
Application for Admission
Applications for admission will be received upto 30 days after the publication of the Higher Secondary Examination results. However, candidates are advised to apply early with available details as direct admissions of candidates with a good record commences by the end of June.
Co-curricular Activities / Add-on, Enrichment and other Inputs
The Institute places stress on developing professional competencies and skills, resourcefulness, creativity, self-learning ability, confidence and soft skills. All round development is also given due importance. To this end, the College will organize suitable programmes in Yoga  & Meditation, Physical Culture, Spoken English & Public Speaking, Social Awareness and Community Work, Computer Applications for teaching, Use of multimedia for education, Counseling and Guidance, Woman and Child  Development, Library & Information Science, Child Education & Psychology.

There will be an appropriate blend of case studies, mini projects, study visits and other interactions to enhance the curricular work.
