We, the GRD School<br \/>\ncommunity, shall aim for the stars&#8230; and we shall achieve it too.<\/p>\n<p>Eminent educationist Dr G R Damodaran\u2018s passion was education. He saw to it that Coimbatore figured<br \/>\nhigh on the education map of India. GRD was happiest when he was with his students, happy when they<br \/>\nsucceeded. Running institutions bearing his name, we dedicate and commit ourselves to his ideals and<br \/>\ndreams for education and Coimbatore.<\/p>\n<p>We want children to do more than just learn. We want them to think and use that thinking to impact the<br \/>\nworld. It is our duty to inculcate positive values in our children. When we do this \u2013 each of them will be a<br \/>\nwinner in life. With the advent of TV and internet \u2013 the habit of reading has taken a back seat. It would<br \/>\nreally help if parents support us in our efforts to actively promote reading. Every GRDian is groomed to<br \/>\nbe a progressive global citizen \u2013 carrying forward the rich legacy and ethos of the institution.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-center\"><strong>We need to work together \u2013 School and parents\u2026.
