GRD MUN ( A model United Nations Assembly)

A model United Nations Assembly —The GRDMUN was setup on the 24th of October 2008 to coincide with the United Nations formation day.

ii. Increases the capacity for students to engage in problem solving.
iii. Teaches students aspects of conflict resolution, research skills and communication skills.
iv. Creates opportunities to meet new people and make new friends.
The GRDMUN was a school-wide conference with student delegates from class 8, representing various member nations. They met to deliberate upon the topic “Climate Change”. This topic was chosen because of the grave concern expressed by National Leaders. It had the following educational benefits.
i. Teachers and students enjoyed this interactive learning experience.
