ACTIVITIES

We at GRD school believe that every child should take part in a public performance, belong to a group that puts up a presentation or project – be supported in something they are good at. This enables students to become active learners, builds confidence and positive self esteem.

WHOLE SCHOOL EVENTS

We are committed to the maxim – “No child left behind” and therefore ensure that all children participate in the four main whole school events. These events aim at promoting respect for culture and heritage, sportsmanship a scientific temperament and a love for reading.

  • MUNA
  • HERITAGE
  • ECO ACTIVITIES
  • ETHICS

  • STORY ENACTMENT
  • POEM ENACTMENT

o ASSEMBLIES
Our School assemblies enable us to fulfill the greater responsibility of imbibing a vision, inspiring a quest for knowledge, fostering values and promoting an ethical way of life. This is done through chanting of mantras, thought provoking talks and quizzes.
o TRIPS AND TOURS
Trips and tours play a vital role in moulding a child’s personality and are an essential part of a broad and balanced curriculum. Field trips, tours within and outside the country add immensely to the richness of a child’s experience.
o CELEBRATIONS
With festival celebrations children understand diversity and are able to accept customs and traditions of the other regions, religions and countries. They are occasions of happiness and joyfulness.
